Chemveda Life Sciences is hosting a walk-in interview for its Peptide team in Hyderabad from February 17 to 19, 2025. The organization seeks experienced professionals with 2 to 7 years in peptide synthesis, purification, and characterization to join its research-driven environment. The interviews will take place at Chemveda Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, located at Plot No. 177, IDA Mallapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500076, between 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
We are hiring for following positions
Department: Peptide Team
Role: Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate – Peptide Synthesis
Qualification Required: M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry / Chemistry)
Experience: 2-7 years of relevant experience in peptide research
Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include the operation of fundamental peptide synthesis equipment such as orbital shakers, microwave synthesizers, and manifolds for library synthesis. The role involves performing solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis for a variety of peptides, including linear, cyclic, and modified forms. It requires proficiency in utilizing different resins, reagents, and cocktail formulations for peptide cleavage, as well as optimizing synthesis protocols to enhance yield, purity, and scalability. Additionally, responsibilities encompass purification through reverse-phase HPLC and preparative chromatography, along with peptide characterization via LC-MS, HPLC, and 1H NMR. A solid understanding of peptide structures, represented by single and three-letter amino acid codes, is essential, along with the maintenance of comprehensive experimental records and laboratory notebooks.
